Roles and Responsibilities:
As a System Analyst for Corporate & Investment Banking, you will work directly with business users and the development team.   You will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle to implement solutions to meet business needs and ensure proper technology controls and application documentation.   This will require effective collaboration with project managers, other business analysts, developers, tech leads and end-users across regions.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze regulatory reporting requirements and create necessary functional documents.
  • Facilitate business requirements discussions with users/product owners.
  • Analyze and document current state processes and incorporate appropriate changes to support business needs.
  • Perform data analysis to ensure the data requirements for regulatory reporting are fulfilled.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts and perform functional testing of the system.
  • Closely work with the users / program team to understand the functional and non- functional requirements.
  • Coordinate with the business users on UAT to ensure that the system is tested for potential issues.
  • Closely track change requests / ad hoc activities and communicate the impact on a timely basis.
  • Assist in addressing user queries and production incidents.
Ensure that best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle and ensure high quality output during all phases of the SDLC.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Investment Banking domain with a good understanding of regulatory reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in working effectively with business users, project manager, and developers in order to ensure high quality and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborates effectively with colleagues, users, and other business partners.
  • Experience in facilitating meetings among stakeholders within the organization.
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work.
  • Strong communication skills in English – verbal and written communication.
  • Reasonable working knowledge of SQL.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.
  • Experience of working in agile teams.
