The Retirement Business Director (RBD) Client Advisor is a client facing sales role on the DCIS Advisor Team within JPM Asset Management. The purpose of the role is to drive retirement sales with financial intermediaries by delivering JPM Investment Solutions and Insights. In this role the RBD will focus on the following responsibilities:
  • Partner with Funds Client Advisors to support Financial Intermediaries where retirement isn’t the primary focus of their business model but manage some DC related assets – this includes coordination with the DCIS Internal Client Advisors on the Funds referral program
  • Coordinate territory sales efforts with Recordkeeping COIs, including introductions to Funds Client Advisors, pipeline reviews, advisor introductions, etc…
  • Prospect new advisors from Distribution Firm (LPL, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Etc…) lists, advisor names from COI partners as well as internal resources, including monthly platform sales reports, business intelligence, etc…
  • Work with DCIS Client Advisors and Internal Client Advisors to maintain consistency in the delivery of the business model within the territory
  • Help bring awareness to and promote the JPMorgan Retirement Link platform for fee based advisors


The ideal candidate for the role would have:

  • 5+ years of Financial Services experience, including retirement industry experience

  • Prior sales experience with a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships

  • Strong organizational and presentation skills

  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses
