Our Global Technology Infrastructure Group in conjunction with the Global Technology Architecture & Engineering group is redefining how JPMC manages its software governance.
The Enterprise Software Asset Management team (eSAM) is actively seeking a Business Analyst to serve as liaison between eSAM, the Architecture & Engineering groups, Cyber Security & Technology Controls, Chief Development Office, and the Lines of Business across the firm. This role will be part of a multi-disciplinary team implementing a new firm wide software governance model along with supporting policies, standards, and procedures.
The role requires and individual with experience & knowledge in : Technology risk and controls frameworks, cyber security vulnerabilities, active management of software products throughout complete life cycle for commercial and open source software products. Success will rely heavily on the individual’s ability to provide thought leadership to develop strategies, drive consensus, and change. Ability to abstract details into compelling strategies and presentations to drive consensus across divergent stakeholders. Strong quantitative & analytical skills are required to frame risks, strategies, options, and solutions.
The individual will be responsible for policy interpretation to develop supporting standards and pragmatic control procedures across the Technology & Business Controls organizations. The individual will be required to lead cross functional programs to implement software policies include developing software life cycles to manage software hygiene and cyber risks, identifying key roles & responsibilities to support the day to day to operations of the life cycles, designing supporting processes and reporting. The role will require significant firm wide communications on the programs status, new policies & standards, and changes to software governance.
Work with key stakeholders (ex. Technology Controls, Data Management, Architecture, Application Development, etc.) to analyze business requirements for new applications and business process controls. Work with the stakeholders and development team to ensure that they understand the specifications. Conduct business process modeling and generate applicable scenarios for the technology functionality testing team.
