Department & Role Description
This role is a Product Owner role at Vice President grade in the Intraday Liquidity team within Corporate Treasury / CIO in EMEA, based in the London office.  
The candidate will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders to extend the intraday dashboard to support business process redesign and operational improvements related to managing intraday liquidity across the 3 main pillars – Cash, Credit and Collateral. 
The role requires an understanding of the business, risk and operational processes required for liquidity management and will involve partnering with colleagues in the Treasury Funding teams, Line of Business Treasury teams, Firm Wide Balance Sheet management teams, Liquidity Risk Oversight, Operational Risk, Clearing Operations and Cash Management teams.
These partner teams are globally distributed therefore experience working with remote stakeholders and contributors is essential.
As a product owner, the candidate will be responsible for:
  • Project management of the enhancements to the Intraday Liquidity dashboard and their business implementation, managing the project plan, risk & issues management and providing regular stakeholder updates
  • Owning end to end dashboard release process  – including requirements, testing, implementation and documentation
  • Coordinating testing for feed on boarding and dashboard enhancements
  • Documentation of high level strategy and requirements for the dashboard
  • Provide business requirements and direction for the projects to the technology BA and AD teams
  • Analysis of large data sets to support new features, analytics and adhoc queries related to intraday Liquidity, Credit or Collateral activity
  • Partnering with line of business to implement operational changes in order to support the firm’s intraday liquidity position
Desired Skills & Attributes
  • Significant experience in the banking industry including partnership with business, risk, operations and technology groups.
  • Significant experience in project management and delivery
  • Significant experience in business analysis and solution design
  • Experience in either Intraday Liquidity management, Clearing or Cash Management
  • Desirable to have an understanding of back office settlements and payments for Cash, Money Markets, FX, Securities and Derivatives products
  • Analytical skills – ideally with SQL and Excel Skills
  • Ability to bridge discussions between Business, Operations and Technology groups
  • Stakeholder management
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills to converse effectively at all levels within the bank
  • Be self-motivated, driven and  able to manage and work in team environment
