About Accounting & Income Support
The Accounting & Income Support Team is responsible for the oversight and control of the Income Accounting process in the Investment Operations platform (Eagle), including accrual calculations and transaction processing. The team is also responsible for customized client reporting, regulatory reporting and oversight.  The Accounting & Income Support Manager provides oversight, management, and strategic leadership for the team, along with serving as a point-person for other operational departments, portfolio management teams, client service teams, and custodians.
  • Create business solutions for control weaknesses and make assessments and risk analysis to prioritize workloads and influence internal and external groups.
  • Lead and direct projects to achieve stated goals and improve efficiencies within teams.
  • Manage through issues that arise urgently and be able to identify and quickly escalate based on risk to firm and impact to clients as well as other internal groups.
  • Review and approve staff processing, focusing on meeting daily, weekly and monthly controls and deliverables.
  • Develop and Document staff performance and provide effective feedback on regular basis
  • Effectively delegate team responsibilities given current commitments, ad-hoc requests and internal and external inquiries
  • Oversight of Income Accrual Processing and Reconciliation Exception Resolution.
  • Perform both voluntary and mandatory corporate action related events
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years industry experience
  • Management experience with a large team
  • MBA is a plus
  • Knowledge of  financial instruments and techniques
  • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
