Wealth Management Operations supports JPMorgan WM, the world's premier service provider for high net worth individuals.  The Private Bank's goal is to help these affluent individuals across the globe optimize their wealth, after taxes and across generations.  Located in Newark, Delaware, the 400 members of WM Operations provide end-to-end support for all aspects of the client banking experience, working closely with sales, service, and product specialty groups.
About Client Reporting
The Client Reporting Team is comprised of highly dedicated individuals who are responsible for all aspects of the client reporting for Private Banking accounts.  The Wealth Management (WM) Statement Operations team is responsible for a variety of functions including statement rendering & statement corrections, quality assurance, preliminary prospectus delivery, and various client mailings.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for developing and gathering client lists for regulatory client communications. The Analyst will act as a liaison between the business, Marketing, Technology and the print vendor to coordinate large client mailings.  In addition, the Analyst will be responsible for managing the primary data store for establishing the mailing lists, and will create data queries to retrieve the client address information based on the business/regulatory requirements.   
In order to perform effectively in this function, a Client Communications Analyst must have strong verbal and written communication skills.  They must be comfortable communicating to all levels and have an analytical approach to problem solving.  They must work effectively in a team environment and be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.  Moreover, the Analyst must be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously to effectively meet required deadlines. This individual must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize projects in addition to their daily work.  It is also imperative that the Analyst has advanced PC knowledge to be able to navigate through multiple applications & systems.
  • Write queries and provide data (client address data/mailing lists) using the ‘datamart’ and following established governance protocols
  • Timely fulfillment of data requests from the Private Bank, including Product Management and Marketing Communications
  • Prioritize and manage data requirements that support Regulatory, product change and standard business practice client communications
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of data selected for the client communications lists
  • Create instructions and reporting for partners as part of the quality assurance review process
  • Maintain open lines of communication and manage expectations with business partners
  • Identify/Develop process improvements and efficiencies
  • Document and present procedural changes to team members
  • Liaise between multiple departments
  • Investigate and respond to inquiries and issues
  • 2+ year’s data analytics and programming experience required
  • Proficiency in SQL and in database and spreadsheet packages like Microsoft Access and Excel
  • SAS knowledge / proficiency
  • Client and partner focused
  • Ability to manage confidential data and report issues with honesty and integrity
  • Attention to detail and ability to assimilate fragmented facts into a detailed problem statement
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well in a team environment
  • Outstanding time management and prioritization techniques
  • Detail oriented and able to prioritize multiple projects and/or tasks
  • Ability to work in both a team and individual environment
  • Knowledge of Private Bank products/services
  • Extensive Excel and Access knowledge (Pivot tables, V-Look up, VBA, etc)
  • A.S/ B.S. degree or equivalent work experience
