About the team
 
The Learning & Development team provides training and development services to over 4,000 employees across Asset & Wealth Management in Europe. Our business consists of Global Wealth Management (Private Banking) and Global Asset Management.  As part of the Global HR group, the EMEA AWM L&D team is committed to working in partnership with the business to deliver development solutions that support the business strategy, increase knowledge and enhance performance across all areas of the business.
 
About the role
 
You will work closely with the EMEA & Global L&D teams, key business stakeholders and other partners in Asset & Wealth Management to support and shape our programmes to ensure they deliver a high ROI for the business.
 
You will be responsible for supporting and implementing several learning and development programmes across all four areas of focus: Executive & Organisational Development, Talent Management, New Hire Platform and Diversity & Inclusion. You should have a successful track record of delivering projects a suite of learning interventions & senior stakeholder management within a financial services organisation and be passionate about inspiring people and helping them achieve exceptional results. In addition, you should be a creative and imaginative person who enjoys working in a collaborative global team environment.
 

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Learning & Development for EMEA AWM you will be responsible for:

 
  • Organisation, development & management of the Core Induction Programmes.
     
  • Organisation & planning of Promotion Information Sessions and Promotion Workshops.
 
  • Administration for the WM CPD Scheme including liaising with stakeholders and our vendor to up load training courses, monitor logged hours and provide training to new hires.
 
  • Organise, support and manage the delivery of our learning and development programmes in London and across Asset Management EMEA.
     
  • Demonstrate a strong proficiency in project or programme management (including data analysis)
     
  • Working closely with internal subject matter experts and other partners to develop content for existing & new programmes that are practical and highly interactive.
 
  • Functioning as an ‘L&D ambassador’ in London who seeks to increase engagement and promote learning culture within the business.
 
  • Support and work in partnership with the AWM business and HR colleagues globally to develop L&D projects & programmes.
Experience & attributes
  • 3+ years experience in developing and managing projects or training programmes.
  • CIPD qualification preferred.
  • Bachelors Degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Client-centric with strong interpersonal, communication and written skills. Able to build partnerships with key global stakeholders.
  • Strong communicator who is proactive in building relationships, sharing knowledge and leveraging best practice across different lines of business.
  • Strong creative skills, innovative, ‘thinks outside the box’.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-moving, complex global environment.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis Excel,  PowerPoint, and web based learning tools preferred
  • Flexibility in hours and ability to travel as some events can occur outside of regular office hours and in other European locations.
