The incumbent will be primarily responsible for performing User Acceptance Testing on day-to-day basis through interpretations of Business requirements Documents. The qualified candidate should be able to lead teams with an ability to multi task, interpret, analyze, coordinate, motivate and work in a highly challenging environment. Experience in working in a team environment with direct line management responsibilities is required


  • ·         Contributes to New Ideas and Methods
  • ·         Should Exercise significant independent judgment within the team to determine the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
  • ·         Leads and Provides expertise on functional projects and should participate in cross functional projects
  • ·         Should provide mentoring and guidance to Senior Testers / Testers
  • ·         Act as an expert by providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies around testing methodologies and procedures.
  • ·         Responsible for developing , applying, revising and maintaining quality standards
  • ·         Designs and Implements methods, procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the accuracy of the testing conducted.
  • ·         Analyzes the errors and return reports for significant findings and conclusions
  • ·         Apply Subject Matter Expertise to resolve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives.
  • ·         Act as a Project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process
  • ·         Responsible for driving test design reviews.
  • ·         Develop/Maintains good relationships with Business Partner
  • ·         Should analyze BRD, prepare UAT test estimates, test plan, and test schedules
  • ·         Defect management and Defects reviews
  • ·         Responsible for attending defect calls, project calls and effectively manage the project.
  • ·         Ensure delivery of high quality test scripts
  • ·         Project efficiency and drive to completion within agreed timelines
  • ·         EOD Test Summary reports to be published to BP
  • ·         Applies Subject Matter Expertise to complex business issues and is regarded as SME.
  • ·         Review of test cases and verification of the test cases
  • ·         Report of the review comments with the Test Manager
  • ·         Supervise the day to day work
  • ·         Timely escalation of critical issues to mgmt
  • ·         Directly supervise Team members and display high level staff Motivation, Commitment, Performance and Knowledge
  • ·         Expected to manage teams if required
  • ·         Contribute during 1-1 ones and appraisal by supplementing the observations
  • ·         Ensure MI’s are completed in time.


  • ·       Must have a Bachelor's degree
  • ·         2-4 years experience in Testing Domain with strong basics of testing (experience in Payments domain will be a added advantage)
  • ·         ISTQB certified (Essential)
  • ·         Strong Analytical & Interpretation skills required
  • ·         Highly organized & eye for details with the ability to work under diverse work groups and high pressure environment within tight deadlines
  • ·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ·         Individual must be a self starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and motivate direct line team members
  • ·         Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers
  • ·         Flexible to work in shifts.
