FRRA – Standalone Regulatory – Senior Associate
Department Description:
The Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis (FRRA) organization resides within Corporate Finance. FRRA is responsible for the execution and delivery against the Firm’s regulatory reporting requirements to its U.S. regulators.   FRRA has end-to-end responsibility for US regulatory reporting and capital stress testing, including the design, implementation, and oversight of the execution, analysis, and control and governance frameworks.  Its mandate includes determining the appropriate investment in people, processes and technology to improve the accuracy, completeness and consistency of the Firm’s US regulatory reporting and capital stress testing submissions,.
Analyst Roles and Responsibilities:
This role in FRRA’s Standalone Regulatory Reporting provides a unique opportunity to interact with multiple lines of business and corporate groups and learn about a variety of products and services offered across the firm and how these affect the financial statements of the firm in a fast paced and deadline oriented environment.  The individual will be responsible for aggregating data of various regulatory submission like FR2314, FR Y-11, FFIEC030, FR2028/ FR2835 BE-125/BE185, BE577..etc  The candidate will also be responsible for continuing to enhance the controls and efficiency over the financial reporting processes which may include transitioning to target data sources and preparing work paper binders in accordance with firm standards.
This role requires the individual to: 
  • Mange standalone reporting India hub ( team of 3)
  • In-depth understanding and hands on experience in standalone entity US regulatory reporting domain.
  • Understanding interconnectivity with various US external regulatory reports and ensure uniformity and accuracy of reports.
  • Strong accounting understanding to interpret regulatory guidelines and its application to current reports (US GAAP and RAP) 
  • Understand and clearly communicate data collection requirements to the lines of businesses and controllers.
  • Participate in various aspects for the production of aggregate firm wide data for monthly, quarterly and annual external disclosures as applicable.
  • Participate in firm wide strategic projects, representing team in larger forums
  • Conceptualize and prepare various analysis for senior management helping to creating control framework 
  • Managing relationships with the Lines of Business as well as with FRRA teams that are responsible for the external reporting of the firm wide data.
  • Ensuring service delivery of the process and maintain healthy working relationship with on-shore partners.


 Qualifications and skill sets:
Strong accounting background – CA with 7+ years experience.
  • Experience in standalone regulatory reporting (FR2314, FR Y-11, FFIEC030)
  • Excellent computer skills especially MS excel
  • Strong control/documentation background
  • Solution centric outlook towards challenges
  • Strong communications skills and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities and channelize team in similar manner
  • Understanding of Axiom application will be added advantage.
