The JP Morgan Chase & Co. Military Pathways Development Program is a highly selective program that seeks to identify top veteran talent and provide candidates the training, opportunities, and exposure they need to grow into future leaders across our most demanding businesses. Military Veterans have a unique set of experiences and leadership abilities that are greatly valued in our organization.
As a member of the Pathways Development Program, you will be placed in a role based on personal interest, professional experience and business priorities, focused on one of a few areas including: Operations, Technology, Risk/Controls, Strategy or Cybersecurity. As a candidate in the program you will receive an intensive overview of the organization and continuous learning and development over a 24-month period with the opportunity to rotate roles after 12 months. Each opportunity will be focused on individual development, and will allow you to inhabit diverse roles such as project manager, analyst and people leader while working in different functional areas like Marketing, Consumer Risk, Digital Technology, Analytics and Operations. Upon completion of the Pathways program, candidates will place out into full time roles based on preference, performance, and growth potential.
To ensure continuous development throughout the program, each candidate will receive mentorship, guidance, and support from your individual manager, program manager, veteran sponsor and many other influential business partners across the firm; helping to align your interests and skills with opportunities.
In addition to your business role responsibilities, as a Pathways member you’ll participate in training programs, learning sessions, individual mentoring relationships, and networking events. You will interact with JP Morgan Chase & Co. senior management and partner with a military veteran sponsor who will assist you with the transition from military life into our organization. You can also become a member of our Veteran’s Business Resource Group, an employee group that supports veteran causes. And of course, you’ll have the strong support network of your fellow military officer veteran colleagues. The cohort format of Pathways will provide you with a network of peers to share experiences and a sense of community amongst fellow veterans. The program currently consists of cohorts for both Junior Military Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers.
As part of the program, JP Morgan Chase & Co. will also support your pursuit of a part-time or executive format graduate education. In addition to allowing time away from work for class, you’ll connect with other program participants and leaders who have attended or are currently enrolled in some of the country’s most elite business schools.
