Commercial Card provides payment solutions to businesses, governments and other institutions for commercial expenditures, including business supplies, maintenance, repair, operational expenses and travel. Our solutions and best practices offer the control, reporting, reconciliation and financial benefits organizations need to streamline payment processes and help turn accounts payable departments into profit centers. Our online management applications provide clients with the ability to establish spending limits, create authorizations and workflows, streamline reporting and enforce buying policies throughout an organization.
JP Morgan's industry-leading commercial card offering includes Purchasing Card, Corporate Card (T&E), Single-Use Account and One Card products.  As a senior product manager, you will be helping drive innovation to deliver enhancements to our client experience, both offline and online. You will participate in and support end-to-end projects and programs at the client and cardholder levels, including product strategy, product development, product controls, evolution of our development / servicing / operations / implementations / compliance models, and internal and external partner engagement.  You will typically be conducting this work as a member of a cross-functional team with representatives from: Technologies, Project Management Office, Product, Risk/Controls, Finance, Business Analysis, Client Onboarding, and Service and Operations. This is an individual contributor role.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Support product roadmap development.  The scope of work will include: concept assessment, business case development, client impact measurement and documentation, concept prioritization, market and requirements documentation
  • As a member of the Product team, work collaboratively to evolve our servicing, operations and implementations models and discipline
  • Own and deliver detailed documentation of existing product capabilities; build and manage an ongoing release process to update and communicate changes to product capabilities
  • Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
  • Five plus years experience in one of these functions: product development, product management, client implementation, project management, or product support. 
  • Experience with treasury payment products (for example ACH, credit card, supply chain finance) required.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
    • Ability to translate capabilities for benefit of clients and senior leadership
    • Ability to build and narrate internal and external value proposition of sets of features or functionalities in a holistic manner
    • Ability to translate how the system will behave in the context of what the clients/end users will experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrix organization as well as with internal and external partners in a collaborative manner
  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives
  • Experience with system architecture and product maintenance for internal systems is a plus
  • Complete end to end technical product development with emphasis on customer experience and acceptance testing is a plus
  • Experience with TSYS processor is a plus
  • Experience with data integration across payment Networks (Visa / MasterCard) and with third party expense management solutions is a plus
