Duties: Provide support to the CFO, Head of Global Treasury Services Business Management in conducting financial analytics and key strategic initiatives. Conduct financial and strategic analyses and develop business cases e.g., new market and product initiatives, pricing, operating model changes, cost optimization etc. Identify opportunities and threats from emerging technologies, start-ups and incumbent technology leaders and develop a proactive response to these opportunities. Identify risks in the control environment, new product initiatives and business continuity. Prepare for business reviews with senior Treasury Services, Banking and Corporate and Investment Bank executives. Conduct fully loaded expense allocations process across lines of businesses in JP Morgan Chase. Support project managing technology investment planning for Global Treasury Services. Build financial model on Shareholder Value Add (SVA) to determine the profitability of potential clients. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or related field plus 3 years of experience in financial analysis/planning, strategy development, or related experience OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or related field plus 5 years of experience in financial analysis/planning, strategy development, or related experience.
Skills required: Must have experience in strategic analysis across industry, competitive landscape, clients etc. Must have experience in financial statement analysis and complex modeling and decision support functions. Must have experience in financial planning and budgeting. Must have experience in driving initiatives globally (e.g., North America, Asia Pacific). Must have experience working with parties with different interests and executing projects. Must have experience working directly with senior level executives to present findings and recommendations. Must have demonstrated knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint skills. Must have experience using business intelligence / data analytics tools (e.g. Essbase and Qlikview). Must have experience in solving ambiguous, complex problems in a structured way. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.
