The Continuous Improvement Services (CIS) team assists frontline, middle management and senior management employees in integrating and sustaining a defined set of key business tools and management practices required for continuous improvement. CIS adds value for the client by encouraging innovation and using the innate capabilities of the business unit to achieve more effective operating results. 



The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and project manager with a blended background in technology, data, reporting and scorecard/metric development.  The candidate must be able to operate in a complex, fast-paced environment by delivering timely accurate results as the contact of numerous CTO wide executive level reports.


As a business operations analyst, you will:

  • Gather, model and analyze data to test hypotheses and size opportunities of major change programs and process improvement projects
  • Develop and refine recommended solutions to address issues and capture opportunities
  • Compile presentations to summarize findings/recommendations and take part in syndication process to senior management. 
  • Partner with stakeholders in all activities
  • Complete assignments involving metrics/reporting and intranet tools
  • Consult with CTO operational business units to aid in development of KPIs and KRIs
  • Serve as subject matter expert on reporting tools
  • Ensure consistent high-quality timely delivery of daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Play a key role in maintaining the strategic infrastructure to support business reporting requirements in compliance with corporate audit and security standards


  • Bachelor’s degree from a competitive school, demonstrating a strong academic and extracurricular track record
  • Top-level communication and presentation skills.  This role corresponds with various levels/areas within the organization (e.g. IT, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Executive Management)
  • Strong listening skills recognizing process improvement opportunities that results in improved customer’s experiences and risk/control enhancements
  • Proven ability to prioritize and efficiently complete assignments while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a data/metrics/reporting environment
  • 3-5 years of Project Management experience
  • 3-5 years experience training, developing and mentoring others


Required experience/background, skills, competencies, personal attributes:

  • Strong understanding of reporting tools such as SharePoint/InfoPath and Microsoft applications (advanced in Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
  • Problem solving skills - Candidate must demonstrate end-to-end generalist problem solving skills, including the ability to define and deconstruct problems, identify and prioritize key issues
  • Analytic skills - gather data, structure and execute quantitative and qualitative analyses, financial modeling, perform competitor/industry research, conduct interviews, synthesize findings, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Background and experience working in Banking Operations
  • Working knowledge of Lean Practices and CTO’s Continuous Improvement (CI) Culture
  • Understanding of CTO business units and their functions is preferred
