The CCB (Consumer & Community Banking) Controls – Disclosure Program is a CCB-wide, multi-year initiative to improve customer facing disclosures, disclaimers and footnotes. The scope of the program spans all CCB lines of business, products, and customer communication channels. The Program was established in 2017 to focus on  a combination of identifying and remediating any possible risks and process gaps, and developing the future state model for CCB disclosures.  For 2018, the Program is focused on ownership and usage of the Golden Source disclosures across CCB production channels and LOBs.
 
The Performance Improvement Manager will be responsible for strategizing the CCB Disclosure Program long term objectives and implementing through strong thought leadership and cross functional relationships. This individual will be responsible for designing new processes related to the access and use of CCB’s Enterprise Content Management solution and disclosures contained within the solution.  The position requires strong partnerships with Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Operations, Change Management, IT and other impacted LOBs.  Collaboration with fellow CCB Disclosure Program team members is also key to assist with internal process needs as well.  The Performance Improvement Manager will advise and influence senior leaders and business executives as well as execute these recommendations throughout CCB and the Controls organization.  Additional responsibilities will include: evaluating as-is processes, identifying control gaps, risks and recommending solutions that clearly add value to customer experience, cost structure, controls and revenue; producing a business case and obtain buy-in from direct management and stakeholders to execute on the proposed project.  As the CCB Disclosure Program matures, the Performance Improvement Manager will further expand their scope to partner with Program Management for the CCB Client-Facing Document Program to assist in process re-engineering needs.
 
Qualifications
 Bachelor's degree required
  • Advanced degree or professional certification preferred
  • 8+ years in the financial services industry or related with a strong track record working across organizational lines and progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Background in Oversight and Controls or financial services community is preferred but not required 
  • 8+ years of professional relevant experience preferred with 5+ years of process improvement roles and experience
  • First-rate analytical and problem-solving skills - must demonstrate the ability to identify key issues, gather and document data while creating actionable recommendations
  • Quickly learn current practices, procedures and upstream/downstream impacts of processes
  • Think both tactically and strategically about project value propositions, prioritization, etc. with ability to reassess these factors in real time as circumstances change
  • Expert communicator, inclusive of visual, written and verbal channels, with the ability to present clearly to all levels of management
  • Detail-oriented with project planning, management and execution experience
  • A high-level of proficiency with Microsoft applications and iGrafx
  • Proven ability in remaining composed and confident under pressure in a leadership role; proactive and adaptable to change
  • Proven leader with credentials supporting strong thought leadership, strong execution skills
  • Excels in leading teams in a clear, purposeful, and productive and results oriented fashion; makes time to invest developing team members; resolves conflicts with tact and diplomacy
  • Flexible to travel as required
