Identity and Access Management Engineer supporting SiteMinder

We are seeking Identity and Access Management Engineers in a globally-diverse environment with strong focus on Authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO). Candidates must have extensive experience with CA SiteMinder and relevant application security knowledge. Candidates must be self-starters and able to grasp all technical aspects of a large existing CA SiteMinder deployment. Candidates expect to work closely with operations team and help resolve all Production and non-Production issues. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of development, QA, and Production infrastructures/environments. Ability to effectively communicate with application teams and answer their concerns. Experience on migrating applications off of SiteMinder platform to new platform is highly desirable.
  • Manage and maintain existing CA SiteMinder deployment.
  • Gain a deep technical understanding existing CA SiteMinder deployment.
  • Work with application teams, operation teams, and QA teams on applications on-boarding process.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on SSO features.
  • Address all and any security concerns raise by Cyber Security Team related to CA SiteMinder.
  • Assist support team if production issues escalated.
  • Work independently of CA Support as much as possible in a fast paced environment.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in SiteMinder.
  • Hands on experience on SiteMinder Policy Servers, Web Agents, and Federation/SAML. Strong and clear concepts.
  • Strong understanding of how to protect APIs and Web Services.
  • Strong understanding of LDAP, Databases, and Active Directory.
  • Strong understanding of Web Servers like Apache IIS, Apache and Application Servers like Jboss, Weblogic.
  • Hands on experience on UNIX and Windows environments
  • Good Programming skills with Java and HTML5
Preferred Requisites:
  • Experience with Cloud computing
  • Understanding of OpenID Connect and OAuth protocols.
  • Experience with Active Directory Federation Service (ADFS)
  • Experience with migrating applications off of SiteMinder.
  • Experience with other SSO products like Ping, ForgeRock, Okta.
 This position is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA) systems. Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis thereafter. The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in Computer Science or Engineering.
