The Home Lending F&BM team acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders and supports key business initiatives, strategy development & the operational decisions of the organization. The team actively identifies and recommends business enhancements and assists management analyze and communicate business strategy and results.
The team is responsible for driving operational success & profitability by engaging and motivating teams across the business, technology, risk & finance to achieve business results. We maintain a relentless focus on our internal and external customers while actively managing and protecting the profitability of the firm.
The Home Lending F&BM team provides real-time insights to sales leadership on volume, hiring & profitability and does so at a national, divisional, regional, market & employee level. The team understands all revenue and expense streams and is able to speak to detailed P&L activity while also being able to simplify the P&L story for a non-finance audience. The team has a strong understanding of key business drivers, including hiring, sales productivity, compensation practices, budget/forecast, target setting, sales conversion, customer satisfaction, competitive landscape, pricing, and ad hoc requests. The team is able to translate detailed understanding of each of these topics into easily consumed, actionable, fact-based analysis.
The successful candidate will drive business results by engaging business partners, analyzing financial results and business drivers, and communicating with senior executives through both oral and written presentations. The successful team member will own their work end-to-end and act as the primary finance point of contact for the partners they support in the business; this position requires the candidate to become a subject matter expert in the home lending business, finance & capital markets.
