Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) services several lines of businesses within JPMorgan Chase, including Business Banking, Global Wealth Management, Investment Banking and Commercial Banking. The group consists of approximately 1,300 employees and is responsible for over $500 billion in loans outstanding.


As a member of the Corporate Client Banking Loan & Agency team, the candidate is responsible for processing loan & letter of credit transactions associated with Real Estate Banking, Managed Assets, and Canadian portfolios. Responsible for maintaining customer files, generating invoices, collection and application of funds, reconciling differences, monitoring past dues & management reports and ensuring system integrity.


Job responsibilities

  • Process transactions for sensitive and/or complex customer relationships on syndicated loans (both JPM agented and Non-Agented deals) using the Loan IQ loan system. (i.e. Daily advances & payments for LIBOR loans, ABR/PRIME loans, Swing loans, and Bankers Acceptances -  as well as processing of Loan Rollovers/Conversions/Repricings)
  • End to end deal servicing: From time of closing up to and including termination of syndicated loans. (with a general understanding  of Revolver and Term Loan facilities mechanics)
  • Exceptional customer service skills - Customer contact focuses on high volume or unique activities requiring interaction with multiple clients, lenders, agent banks and internal market/credit partners & resources. (Ability to calculate interest and fee accruals for billing is required for this role.)
  • Responsible for minimizing credit and business risk through awareness of procedure, compliance, and bank policy
  • Participating in projects and working groups as required
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Work experience with Participated and Syndicated loans preferred
  • Proven ability in accounting techniques and strong analytical skills (including knowledge in accrual/GL reconcilement.)
  • 4-5 years professional working experience in banking or financial services is required.
  • Ability to adapt to new systems; LS2/ Loan IQ system knowledge preferred   - but will review experience with other syndicated loan systems such as ACBS, Agent + or AFS)
  • Familiarity with Foreign Currency a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret standard reports, forms/legal documents and handling customer inquiries.  (including Credit Agreements and Amendments)
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Effective in time management, prioritizing, multi-tasking and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).  Excel proficiency a must
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing work
