The Corporate & Investment Bank Treasury department is a critical function within CIB Finance and Business Management. It is responsible for managing the liquidity, balance sheet and capital positions of the investment banking businesses, establishing transparent and market-based funds transfer pricing policy, and developing methodologies and metrics to improve the leverage, capital, collateral and liquidity risk management capabilities of the Corporate and Investment Bank.
CIB Treasury Banking, a unit within CIB Treasury is responsible for evaluating all aspects of the banking and custody balance sheet across all legal entities, in order to optimize the Banking businesses strategy. The group partners with Corporate Treasury and CIO to develop efficient and effective policies and procedures for deployment of the CIB balance sheet. The primary responsibility of the team is interest rate risk policy and strategy, liquidity stress testing, effective Funds Transfer Pricing and Liquidity Premium, legal entity ALM and Balance sheet and NII modeling.
This team is looking for a Vice President to manage a broad array of initiatives for the CIB Treasury Banking Group. The ideal candidate should be skilled at performing complex and quantitative analyses, pay close attention to detail, take ownership over projects and proactively move them forward, feel comfortable operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, be able to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously, and have a keen interest in capital markets and economics. Strong working knowledge of financial analysis, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, balance sheet analysis, regulatory requirements (US/Basel); and accounting concepts are required. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills are essential.
Bachelor degree required, MBA preferred, minimum 3 years of working experience in Finance with emphasis in analytical work. Mathematics, Statistical or Engineering background is a plus.
