Duties: Analyze business requirements and assist technology partners with creating user stories to define system specifications and facilitate writing and testing of codes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps in service and develop solutions to fill. Apply downstream impacts of web service changes and liaise with multiple teams to ensure they are in correlation with scrum teams on delivery timelines. Participate with scrum team, user interface (UI) developers, and Ada Analysts to ensure websites comply with Ada and firm standards. Maintain a living evergreen repository.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Information Management/Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, Engineering, or related technical field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as a Systems/Technical/Data Analyst or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Management/Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, Engineering, or related technical field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Systems/Technical/Data Analyst or related occupation in lieu of a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: behavioral driven development (BDD) using Gherkin scripting language; and reading JAVA code and service definitions to understand existing system behavior. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: working with Agile development teams using Atlassian collaborative tools JIRA and Confluence; SQL and database scripting; and SOAP, XML, JSON, and other similar web service protocols and technologies. This position requires three (3) years of experience with facilitating requirements development and JAD sessions.
