The Regional Surveillance Team


Surveillance is an established specialism within compliance that adds value to the organization. JP Morgan Chase is continuing to expand its surveillance coverage and enhance its existing regional program. We seek to hire like-minded individuals who have a passion for surveillance and wish to become part of a great regional team. 


The Role

Head of Communications Surveillance, APAC


Key Responsibilities

  • Key regional SME and Lead for all Communications surveillance in the region.  A member of the regional surveillance management team and regional SME at the global surveillance communications group.

  • Manage a team of 4 dedicated e-Communications specialists and matrix lead for the product aligned analysts who undertake e-Coms BAU across the region (circa 20)

  • Oversee and play a key role in building a China coverage model and on-shore team

  • Regional Surveillance covers the following countries: Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Korea, India, Taiwan, and Thailand.

  • Financial Product Coverage of the group includes: CIB: Equities, Futures and Options,  Fixed Income, Commodities and Currencies; Asset Management and Wealth Management.

  • Be a key global SME for the global development of English lexicons and risk coverage. Lead for the non-English lexicons in Japanese and Chinese 

  • Regional lead for the implementation and local application of the voice communications program.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Experienced manager
  • Detail-oriented
  • Structured, fact-based decision making style
  • Good systems technology skills
  • E-Communications surveillance experience essential, voice communications surveillance experience beneficial.  
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Chinese fluent
