Applications Developer within a global RAD Development Team. Responsible for development of solutions delivering efficiencies for Custody and Fund Services operations on a .Net and SQL platform and AngularJS using Agile methodologies and providing support for existing VBA and SQL applications.
You will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments. You will utilize mature (3rd or 4th Generation) programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
Work will include all aspects of the RAD development lifecycle with a focus on migrating from a VBA platform to .NET and SQL.
  • The candidate should have a strong understanding of .NET C#, SQL Server and VBA platforms including 8 years experience working with .Net and previous experience of working within the financial services industry.
The candidate should have previous relevant experience.
  • Diverse background in all areas of application SDLC. 
  • Software engineering background with a minimum of 8 years experience in .NET C# and SQL server.  Experience with AngularJS and other Javascript Technologies.
  • Experience with Excel and Access and VBA macros.   
  • Able to gather user requirements and translate them into tech deliverables and scheduling.  Engage on production support related issues and identify workarounds or fixes when needed. 
  • Work well as an individual or team contributor as the work requires.  Able to deliver under pressure, multi-task on many work items in a day, and reevaluate priorities and impacts on a regular basis. 
  •  Securities and Financial services experience a plus.
