As a member of the Capital Controller’s team the individual’s responsibilities will include:
Develop a strong understanding of regulatory capital rules (Basel 3 Standardized and Advanced approaches) along with related ratios and metrics to enable delivery of core reporting and analysis
Preparation of in depth monthly and quarterly RWA analytics to enable senior management to understand key trends and drivers across capital ratios as well as forecast to actual variance analysis
The position involves interaction with many teams across RCMO and the firm including LOB and Corporate Finance Functions, BM&A, Regulatory Policy, Audit, and Technology. The ability to work efficiently, communicate effectively and influence across these boundaries will be one of the keys to success.
4 or more years of experience in a finance, control, risk or audit function
Creative self-starter with strong initiative, ability to take ownership and work independently as well as contribute to the broader team
Prior knowledge and experience in regulatory capital preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to multi-task and work effectively with senior management in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines under pressure
