SBL Brexit Project Manager – Assoc
Due to the decision of the UK to exit the European Union there is a requirement for JP Morgan to implement the necessary changes to it’s product offerings and infrastructure to enable on-going operations/ ability to process European client initiated activity as well as support the JP Morgan client base within the EEA region.
As a result of the above, a key role within the CIB Sec Ops Brexit program, Project Managing the CIB Markets Equity Financing Middle Office Brexit build out, has been created.
In Managing the functional stream the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, including:
  • Define project scope, deliverables, key milestones, dependencies, budget and resources
  • Drive project agenda & facilitate progress toward targets
  • Develop project plan, timeline and communication plan
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders across the firm to manage the internal infrastructure set up of the new European booking entity across the SBL Risk Management platforms
  • Similarly work in partnership with key stakeholders to manage external set up of the new entity with custodians/ICSDs/CSDs as well as external Vendors
  • Work with central Regulatory Reporting team to determine Regulatory Reporting requirements and develop new reporting where necessary
  • Post set-up coordinate testing, both Settlements/SBL specific as well as Settlements/SBL input to firmwide E2E testing, (Trade Capture through to Settlements/ GL)
  • Implement SBL stream scorecards to track progress & facilitate senior management reporting
  • Determine migration approach and execute migration
  • Expertise in project management discipline and techniques
  • Knowledge of Equities and/or Borrow Loan flows
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong team building skills
  • Detailed knowledge of securities products, markets and internal/external infrastructures required to support these instruments
