The CIB Client Profitability team is part of the CIB CFO organization and is responsible for providing client profitability information to assist business and finance executives to drive business growth and measure performance through key client metrics and banker evaluations. 
The team supports Banking, Markets and Investor Services and works with senior managers, sales professionals and product managers to ensure that these key decision makers have the right data to make informed decisions about our clients and their product usage.
The team focuses on formulating and executing policies and processes relating to client profitability and is also responsible for monthly processing of client data, ensuring data quality and providing the right reporting framework for our partners in finance, sales and product management.
The team oversees the monthly close cycle for Wholesale Client Profitability (WCP), and also develops and implements improved methodologies.  Partnering with CIB Strategy, the team is currently engaged in a multi-year effort to significantly enhance CIB client profitability data.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The CIB Client Profitability team is looking for a Vice President to lead client profitability data and reporting improvements, oversee user inquiry and issues management, and drive monthly production activities.  To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a mix of analytical and critical thinking capabilities as well as sound organizational and management skills.
  • Lead the identification and "deep dive" analyses on key issues impacting client to determine root cause and propose solutions
  • Work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders to deliver solutions that improve client profitability data and reporting
  • Build and maintain relationships across key business stakeholders, Operations and Technology partners
  • Daily project management of key initiatives, including status updates, reviews and other required communications
  • Support iBanker users by providing client profitability related subject matter expertise and data issue resolution  
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills, including good decision making and ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of management and ability to work across a variety of cross-functional teams
  • Team-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing business priorities and schedules; ability to manage multiple deliverables at the same time
  • At least five years of related analytical experience, with finance experience preferred
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Access, Cognos, SQL and SharePoint; prior experience with Qlikview, Business Objects and Hyperion Essbase are a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or related discipline required.
