The US Institutional Product Strategy Team shapes and positions Asset Management’s product suite working closely with both investment & distribution teams. The US Institutional Product Strategy Analyst is responsible for partnering with senior team members of the Product Strategy Team to competitively position JPMAM’s investment strategies. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and investment teams to grow his/her product and market knowledge to eventually be able to provide competitive intelligence.  


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a proficiency in the JPMorgan product range, competitor products, and industry trends

  • Contribute to qualitative and quantitative competitive analysis and with the goal of presenting at product training sessions

  • Organize product training calls and materials

  • Lead project  management for bi-annual competitive insights books and monthly performance reports

  • Contribute to analysis of client trends and market dynamics to identify strategic priorities for US Institutional business that match client demand with core investment capabilities

  • Assist with preparation of presentations for senior management - coordinating globally as needed

  • Proactively engage cross functionally with marketing, investment, and client teams to identify areas of opportunity within broader firm initiatives to optimize J.P. Morgan’s product suite (i.e. Sales Training, Sustainable Investing Initiatives, Thought Leadership, Product Development)

  • 3-5 years of financial services experience, with a significant focus in product management, analysis, and strategy
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage competing priorities/deadlines
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; aptitude for computer software (for example Morningstar Direct, eVestment)
  • Knowledge of JPMorgan Investment Products a plus
  • Must have Series 7 or 63 or willingness/ability to obtain within first 90 days
