The Corporate Sector, with an annual operating expense budget of over $11B and headcount of more than 30,000 is supported by the Corporate Sector Finance team which provides financial management and reporting for multiple Corporate functions, including Enterprise Technology, Global Real Estate, Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, Corporate Responsibility, Audit, Executive and other staff and corporate-aligned areas.

The Corporate Sector Planning & Analysis (P&A) team coordinates across all Corporate Sector Finance teams and is the liaison with the Firm Wide P&A group, Investor Relations (IR), the Regulatory Capital Management Office (RCMO), Corporate Financial Reporting (CFR), and the Global Finance organization. The group is primarily responsible for the budgeting, forecasting, CCAR/DFAST, earnings press release and 10K/10Q processes for Other Corporate. In addition, the team leads several firm wide reporting streams, including Consent Order, Enterprise-wide Programs, Chief Administrative Office and Technology. The team currently consists of approximately 80 people across 3 locations, primarily Mumbai, Columbus and Jersey City.

The Associate will be part of the Data & Reporting hub of the Corporate Sector P&A organization.  The individual will be responsible for supporting several Corporate functions with meaningful financial reporting and a focus on analytics.  Responsibilities will include monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting demands in collaboration with Corporate Sector functions and Finance/CFO teams.  The individual will also have the opportunity to drive change within Corporate Finance, helping to simplify processes, accelerate automation, and enhance analytics.  The Associate will serve as a project lead through the implementation of automated BI solutions, in the form of Tableau dashboards.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide project leadership in dashboard development.  Develop framework and translate large data sets into dynamic, flexible, and meaningful executive ready visualizations.
  • Serve as the liaison between Finance clients and Dashboards/Technology support teams in order to provide impactful Reporting    
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting deliverables to Senior Management (e.g. EMRs, Headcount analysis, Regional spend analysis, scorecards, etc.)
  • Preparation and consolidation of insightful analysis and commentary for Corporate financials including budget/forecast/outlook variances. 
  • Participation in discussions surrounding business intelligence for the functions supported
  • Partnering with Forecasting & Allocations teams within Corporate Sector P&A to support our Finance teams

  • Bachelor's degree required – Finance/Accounting preferred with Technology background
  • 3-5 years of finance/accounting experience, project management experience a plus
  • Superior technology skillset – Ability to navigate numerous data sources and synthesize large data sets
  • Tableau, relational database experience a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented individual with the ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Team oriented, inquisitive, and critical thinker who will anticipate questions from senior level management
