Treasury is a function within Global Finance responsible for managing the firm's liquidity and funding positions, establishing funds transfer pricing policy, analyzing the firm's line of business and consolidated earnings at risk, executing the firm's securitization programs, managing the firm's relationships with rating agencies and fixed income investors and optimizing the structure and price for all corporate insurance policies for the firm.

Role Description

The candidate will join the Intercompany Liquidity Management (ILM) team in New York.  This function within Treasury focuses on the governance, analytics, reporting and controls of intercompany funding and liquidity. This individual will work on various initiatives to simplify the intercompany funding model and reduce trapped liquidity within the Firm’s legal entity structure.  These will include developing strategic methods to analyze the Firm’s intercompany flows for potential efficiencies, coordinating with Firmwide stakeholders on implementation, and partnering with technology to drive enhancements to these processes.  Working in Treasury will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work alongside senior front office, finance, and risk management professionals in an area of the Firm that covers the spectrum of asset classes & financial/banking products.  The position offers good visibility into various products across the bank as well as the unique opportunity to understand firm initiatives from a broad perspective.  There is extensive partnership with colleagues within the various lines of businesses, Treasury, and other Corporate functions.

·         Strong skills in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint

·         Strong analytical, investigative problem solving and decision making skills

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Strong work ethic and demonstrated initiative

·         Ability to work under pressure

·         Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across different businesses and functional areas

·         Preference for candidates with JPM operations and finance experience as well as knowledge of regulatory liquidity requirements.
