The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology
support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate
Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the
Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).  The RQD (Risk Quantitative Development) IT Organization has responsibility for implementation of Retail financial models in credit, collections, fraud, and regulatory reporting, as well as providing firm-wide model governance systems, and analytical environments for business analysts and model developers.
The Risk Model Development (RQD) Fraud Applications team develops and manages Fraud related application that will be used to execute different fraud related engines. Our activities include perform hands-on coding of production-ready code using different  programming languages or tools, assist other teams in their coding, and create tools which validate data and which streamline the implementation process.
The candidate will be working closely with business partners for Rules Authoring on a need basis. He/She also be part of requirement analysis and design of the Rules projects. Defect analysis and L3 support, Deployment and support. Creating ITSM and supporting them on quarterly releases.  
Roles & Responsibilities - 
  • Interact with business users to collect the requirements.
  • Create and update the business rules and java code for the new business requirements.
  • Build and deploy rules using Jenkin business service applications from code to test and production environments using the different middleware infrastructures.
  • Standardize, automate and document setup and deployment to development and production environments, including ITSM coordination.
  • Own and drive improvements to the build and release scripts, tools, and processes
  • Help define best practices for source control, continuous integration, automated testing and release management
  • Build  and lead POCs for tools for internal use to support best practices
  • Bring new automation technologies to improve the velocity and quality of our engineering efforts
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required with 6 plus yrs of IT experience is mandatory.
  • 3+ years of experience in IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM), preferably v8.6 and above (previously ILOG jrules).  
  • 3+ years of hands on development experience with JAVA, J2EE Spring, Hibernate, REST/SOAP Web Services is a must.  
  • Hands on experience in business rules discovery, rules harvesting and rule development in ODM.  
  • Hands on experience in designing and building Domain Models, Java Execution Models and Business Object Models for Business Rules and events Applications  
  • Hands on experience in authoring, testing, publishing and deploying business rules into Decision Center Business Console and Enterprise Console, Decision Server/Rule Execution Server (RES).  
  • Hands on experience in testing and simulating rule in Decision Validation services and leveraging Decision Warehouse.  
  • Hands on experience in ODM API's.  
  • Web services and other J2EE development and integrations 
  • Experience with Continuous Integration build, preferably with Jenkins
  • Hands on with Maven
  • Experienced in object oriented design and modeling in Unified Modeling Language (UML).  
  • Experience in Relational databases  
  • Level3 support experience.  
  • Experience with onshore and offshore development model
  • Excellent team player skills  
  • Excellent communication skills is a must.
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies such as Scrum is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of build tools like Maven and source control like Git/SVN.
  • Experience in banking/finance industry will be a plus.
  • Must have experience in project planning and architecture
  • Must have experience in application development, data base design, data modeling
  • Must have experience in multiple database technologies like Oracle, Greenplum
  • Deep understanding of Linux/UNIX environments.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with large scale complex systems
  • Background in Financial industry/banking
  • Strong grasp of fundamental computer science concepts: data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and object oriented design
  • Expertise in managing conflicting priorities under pressure and ability to influence technology partners without authority.
  • Agile SDLC delivery experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent planning, prioritization and organizational skills
