As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement

Key Responsibilities
This role is for a Lead Applications Developer to work across the development lifecycle for new business process, existing business process changes and system modifications and upgrades. Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Produce detailed technical specifications from functional requirements and liaise with the business analysts and projects team on the design and technical implementation of solutions
  • Analysis/Design/Development/Testing of the application
  • Hands on development and support as and when needed.
  • Post implementation support
  • Perform System and data analysis
  • Work with various HR & JPMC functional groups to analyze business needs to provide appropriate, innovative, and cost effective solutions
  • Evaluate technologies for inclusion in forward-looking technology strategies
  • Assist development teams with design and product architecture
  • Analyze technology issues and propose short, mid and long-term solutions
  • Assist in scalability & capacity planning
  • Work with other senior technology leaders to propose technical solutions and help craft architecture & technology roadmap
  • Work with internal and external customers on technical solutions
  • Assist in process development for the technology organization
  • Work with team of application developers for development
  • Ensure that risks and issues are escalated and addressed in a timely manner
  • Keep abreast of latest technological advances. Bring new, innovative ideas to the table.
  • 7+ years of Web Services Development;  Production / Operations management experience
  • Experience with WebSphere 6.1 or higher 
  • Understanding of Incentive System concepts 
  • Strong working knowledge of the TrueComp Incentive Platform and processes
  • Experienced with Database designing  / knowledge of Callidus Commissions / TrueComp architectures and data model
  • Experience with Microsoft FrontPage (UI Design)
  • Working experience with Core Java 1.6 or higher
  • Expert knowledge in Groovy Scripting
  • Working experience with JSP, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, AJAX, JSON, etc.
  • Experienced with  / knowledge of BO Universe Development and Design
  • Working experience in PL/SQL Programming
  • Experience with JUDE/astah & Visio (UML)
  • Working experience with Spring MVC framework
  • Working experience with SAP SDK API, especially for Reports Automation
  • Working experience with Hibernate 3.0, JDBC and IDE tools like eclipse, NetBeans, etc.
  • Experienced with  Actuate Enterprise Reporting API, a plus
  • Strong working experience with SDLC/Agile processes
  • Financial Services experience a plus
  • Prior experience working within a multi-functional team consisting of Data Integration, Report Development, Analytics, Quality Assurance, Web Applications/Workflow Development
  • Knowledge of the processes required for best-in-class unit testing, peer reviews and code migration across environments
  • Ability to manage conflict professionally


  • Bachelors' degree in Computer Engineering or related field of study
