The Banking Production Management team is responsible for the stability, resiliency, change and release of the Banking application stack within the Production environment.  The J.P. Morgan Banking business, consisting of Investment Banking, Treasury Services and Corporate Banking, is one of the largest wholesale banking client franchises the world.  We serve clients, including corporations, governments, states, municipalities, healthcare organizations, education institutions, banks and investors.  The team interacts directly with Business Operations, Product and Client Services plus our partners in Application Development and Global Infrastructure teams.  Banking applications securely process trillions of payments every day along with providing real time Liquidity and Accounting functions. We also focus on automation and tooling, to eliminate unnecessary manual effort and to enhance our monitoring capabilities.

  • Managing the Change and Release Management processes to ensure that all change and release acceptance criteria and governance requirements are met in support of mission-critical payment, liquidity, cash, check processing and accounting applications and micro services
  • Liaising with line of business and global change management units targeting on going compliance with firm's requirements
  • Developing specialist change and release management knowledge in relevant systems and domains, sharing that knowledge with team members and global partners
  • Proactively improving the quality and performance of the change and release management processes and systems, supporting the change and release management service focus on increased business value
  • Proactively working towards automation of best practice change management disciplines, bringing a DevOps mind-set to the entire software development life cycle, building, evolving and operating rapidly-changing resilient systems at scale.
Who are we hiring?
  • You have working knowledge of Financial services, ideally payment processing
  • You have working knowledge of ITIL practices, Change, Release and Risk management processes and principles
  • You have working experience with Agile methodology including Scrum and Kanban
  • You have excellent presentation skills, and ability to communicate with various audiences, including end users, managers, and members of the IT team
  • You have strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • You have strong attention to detail skills
  • You are in possession of multi-tasking skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and keep up with project scope changes
  • You understand the incredibly demanding nature of financial services, or you are eager to experience it
  • You have a thirst for knowledge and want to expand your technical and business knowledge
  • You are able to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • You can manage demanding clients constantly evolving needs
  • You can think quickly and logically under pressure, understand and fix problems in a fast paced environment
  • You are able to understand and invoke the principles of ITIL and can use them to effectively protect and govern our production environment.
