As a Business Analyst Lead for the Payment Networks Vendor Management Office, you are given the responsibility of being a key lead in the effective management of the IT relationship supporting Chase’s Card and Digital Wallet processing with Visa, MasterCard, and other Vendors as needed. This role requires disciplines such as data analysis, financial management, payment network oversight (Visa/MasterCard), business systems analysis, performance metrics, and reporting. It also requires working with multiple lines of business to analyze business requirements and review/produce specifications for any changes to technology payment applications impacting Payments Processing and/or the Digital platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations and Compliance Management:
  • Provide oversight for Third Party Risk Management and Audit Reviews to include the implementation of changes required from audit reviews alongside managing the remediation of any issues raised.
  • Manage all Chase required Application Risk Assessments and for the Visa and MasterCard application portfolio.
  • Ensure Visa and MasterCard services are accurately reflected in Chase’s application repository.
  • Partner with the Payment Network Office to analyze and/or prepare variances and waivers granted to Chase by Visa and MasterCard.
  • Serve as a Level 3 Escalation Point to assist in resolving issues involving either Visa or MasterCard in a timely manner.
  • Communicate industry updates, Payment Network changes, product updates, and processing changes impacting Card, Retail, Digital, and Merchant Services as it relates to Payments processing and Digital wallets.
  • Perform validation of Visa and MasterCard settings supporting Card and Digital processing (e.g. Token Service Enrollment Setup variables, Card Art settings, etc.).
  • Ensure department documentation (data library) remains evergreen.
Project Execution:
  • Serve as primary point of contact for interaction/coordination with Visa and/or MasterCard related to Digital activities.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for disseminating changes to interface specifications for Digital Wallet activities and collect/gather feedback from internal Chase teams.
  • Coordinate meetings to review and discuss changes and/or obtain answers and clarifications across multiple technology and business teams.
  • Coordinate and schedule testing needs for all major projects.
  • Coordinate configuration of new file transfers between Visa and/or MasterCard and Chase.
  • Coordinate infrastructure upgrades and connectivity projects between Payment Networks and Chase.
  • Coordinate defect review meetings with Payment Networks during projects and for BAU issues.

  • 3-5 years of professional work experience in Information Technology within a large enterprise organization
  • IT Project Management or Business Systems Analyst experience preferred
  • Experience with all stages of the PDLC (Project Development Life Cycle) and Agile development
  • Understanding of Payment Processing for Credit and Debit cards
  • Emerging Payments experience to include Digital Wallets, Mobile Payments, and eCommerce
  • Experience in debit and/or credit card payments processing/technology preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or related field of study or equivalent experience in systems or software development
