The Director of Acquisitions will be responsible for developing and ensuring the successful implementation of the acquisition strategy for the Partner Co-brand Portfolio. This is a critical position overseeing the primary growth lever for the partner's cobrand business in partnership with the Directors of Acquisition Marketing and Operations at the partner.
  • Developing and overseeing the implementation of all acquisitions strategy that supports Partner Program goals for growth and profitability.
  • Serve as primary point of Contact for partner Acquisitions Marketing and Acquisition Operations Directors.
  • Driving acquisition innovation and channel expansion with particular emphasis on digital and Partner led activities.
  • Leading team to ensure all partner acquisition campaigns are executed seemlessly and on-time.
  • Establishing the acquisition budget and forecasts while leading related processes (e.g. ICOM process) for the Partner Program.
  • Ensuring that all acquisitions materials adhere to Chase Treating Customer’s fairly principle and reflect the high quality of the Chase and Partner brands.
  • Ensuring adherence to the contract for all acquisitions related activity
  • Participate in acquisition business reviews with leadership.
  • Managing business with strong emphasis on controls and business discipline.


  • 10+ years relevant experience, strategic marketing experience is required, credit card specific experience is preferred 
  • Exceptional leadership, relationship building and influencing skills. The position requires a large degree of cross-functional collaboration and coordination, both internally and with the partner.
  • Outstanding communicator – verbally and in writing. Proven ability to develop strong presentations and communicate effectively with all audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful growth strategies.
  • Deep digital background with demonstrated ability to leverage a variety of digital tactics (display, social, SEO, etc.) to drive growth.
  • Proven ability to identify key consumer insights and develop successful marketing initiatives based on those insights.
  • Outstanding people leader – proven ability to attract and develop strong talent and build followership.
  • Strong analytical skills, knowledge of the credit card industry and card P&L.
  • Minimum of 5 years of acquisitions marketing experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus.
