The JPMorgan Private Bank Client Center is a meeting facility for bankers to welcome JPMorgan Private Bank's clients in a private and sophisticated environment. Our role is to welcome our guests, manage the staff and the facilities as well as maintain and reflect the JPMorgan "first-class-experience". We have 12 meeting rooms accommodating anywhere between 4 and 16 people. 
Position Description
The ideal candidate should possess both judgment and experience to successfully accomplish tasks with limited direct supervision.  The individual will apply well-honed skills and adapt procedures, processes and techniques to the completion of assignments. 
  • Act as the main advocate on behalf of the Private Bank and implement service models according to the business needs
  • Oversee and the reservation books via Event Management System
  • Oversee Client Center’s daily meetings and events 
  • Assist on implementing, developing and following JP Morgan Client Center protocols for all client meetings (meet and greet, security protocols, catering set-up, client management)
  • Assist with managing inspections related to food & beverage set-ups, staff schedules, menu updates, and facilities
  • Build and strengthen relationships between front and back of the house teams. (i.e. participate in menu tastings, attend pre-meal meetings, organize team trainings, etc.)
  • Assist in surveying client experience and propose solutions based on feedback as needed
  • Assist in development of new client centers and/or refresh of existing locations
  • Oversee staff on various administrative tasks such as but not limited to: invoice processing, scheduling maintenance calls with vendors and order kitchen, banquet and office supplies among others
  • Responsible for compiling daily, monthly and quarterly usage reports
  • Continue to set guidelines and establish service protocols to enhance client experience
  • Collaborate with other client center managers in following a consistent service model in all locations globally
In addition, candidate will oversee the following areas:
  • Liaise with building management to ensure appropriate facilities maintenance and security
  • Manage proper coverage for client center (reception and banquet staff)
  • Troubleshoot when unable to meet demand for space (prioritize client/prospect meetings and relocate to alternative space)
  • Budget management
  • Conduct performance reviews with direct reports
  • Vendor relationship
  • Partner with Security to ensure smooth guest registration
  • Support satellite client center in the region as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality preferred
  • 4-5 years of hospitality/events experience
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese required
  • PR, event planning, or hospitality experience highly recommended
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to demonstrate sensitivity and tact
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once in an efficient and accurate manner
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  •  Ability to identify areas that need improvement and take the lead to solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including maturity, an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting, and with a sense of humor
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, high-profile environment.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and solve problems while interacting with individuals at all levels.
