As a member of the Infrastructure Engineering team, you'll play a big part in designing the platforms, servers, and networks make it possible for us to provide service to our customers, clients, and businesses around the globe each and every day. In this role you’ll call on your experience designing tailored solutions to understand the requirements of a project, test the performance of the infrastructure, and verify that the requirements have been successfully met. As a team, you and your peers will be responsible for driving results, collecting and analyzing monitoring data in test and production, and managing projects to completion. As a Middleware Administrator, you and your peers will be responsible for driving results, configuring and maintaining the applications in lower environment and production. The individual will work with Developers, Database Administrators, Network Engineers, DevOps and other support team to analyze, build, maintain and execute new projects.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BTech/BE degree or equivalent experience
Communicates with confidence to internal customers
Strong interpersonal capabilities along with solid verbal and written communication skills
Must have strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks effectively
The qualified candidate will have 5+ years of proven Middleware Engineering experience in installation, configuration and administration of the following:
IBM WebSphere Application Server 7.x / 8.x
Tomcat 7 and 8
Apache HTTP Server 2.4.x
Strong experience with Unix and Linux
Experience with Siteminder will be added advantage
Knowledge on network Load Balancers and topology
Willingness to work in a 24X7 environment and on on-call support
