The Chief Administrative Office consists of 10 global functions that support JPMorgan Chase’s businesses firm wide. 
 
The Instrument, Pricing & Common Reference Data (IPC) utility, with over 400 staff globally, is a major component of Global Reference Data Operations which will service all areas of J.P. Morgan – Corporate & Investment Bank, Asset Management, Consumer & Community Banking and the Commercial Bank.   IPC provides high quality Pricing & Reference Data to its subscribers from major external market providers such as Bloomberg, S&P, Thomson Reuters under a single operating model.  Data is sourced, validated, mastered and distributed via J.P. Morgan’s strategic Pricing & Reference Data architecture and is used for trading, risk management, settlement and regulatory reporting.
 
The Role
 
The role will be responsible for the completion of the final phase of a multi-year CIB adoptions programme with a firmwide business case saving $37mm for CIB by 2018.  As the project manager you will be responsible for completing the Instrument and Pricing CIB adoptions in 2017; 22 CIB applications for Instruments and 2 for Pricing.
 
The Project Manager will be accountable for regular status updates to the CIB governance meeting attended by CIB CTOs; the 2017 completion milestone is a Level 1 milestone with significant importance to the Firm.
 
The Project Manager will work closely with Product and Operations executives and teams across the firm, with their technology counterparts and with clients to complete the CIB application adoptions.  The candidate will also work closely with the wider IPC change management team, including Business Analysts, Project and Programme Managers and Product Owner - in addition, there will be extensive interaction with the Reference Data Technology teams.
 

The CIB programme contributes to the firmwide business case for the Reference Data Utility of reducing costs to CIB by up to $37m per annum after 3 years. Any previous experience in this functional area would be of great benefit.

Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for delivering the 2017 CIB adoption scope of 22 instrument and 2 pricing adoptions across CIB
  • Partner with firmwide business and tech leads to explore existing requirements and offerings
  • Partner with the internal team, and wider technology partners to ensure priority and focus on the 2017 agenda to achieve the Level 1 milestones
  • Project reporting in OPTIC, but also to the CIB Governance meeting
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders across the firm.

Qualifications:

    • Strong communication skills and proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with   business partners are essential
