Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for the firm, delivering a wide range of products and services, and partnering with all lines of business to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost effective manner. The objective of GTI is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services across then firm. GTI is designed to address the unique infrastructure needs of specific lines of business and the demand to leverage economies of scale across the firm.
The Global Strategy & Core Services (GSCS) organization brings together the architecture, development, solutions architecture and core foundation service groups in GTI and drives several firm-wide technology infrastructure initiatives. These service groups enable JPMC’s to shift to a software-defined, automated, high-scale services organization through driving integrated technology strategy, roadmaps and product development and enhancing alignment between LOB and GTI teams. 
The Quality Engineering COE is part of Application Software Engineering (ASE) function within GSCS drives Agile Product Development for primarily consumer facing portals and leads the Chief Development Office for GTI. QE-COE is accountable for:
  • Quality assurance across End User, Compute, and Service Operations domains
  • Environment Reliability Engineering for providing best in class resilient delivery ecosystem with quality/metrics driven practices.
  • Transforming Testing for GTI Flagship Programs, including the overall Testing Strategy, Test Plan, Functional /Non-Functional Testing and Test Automation
  • Release, process and tools engineering/reengineering for providing quality software with sustained velocity with the value for business.
GSCS’ Application Software Engineering are hiring an Tools , Process and Control Management Lead, who will be responsible for establishing and running the environment reliability management, reporting to the Head of Quality  Engineering COE. The ideal candidate is an experienced practitioner/advocate in ITSM/DevOps/Site Reliability Tools, Process, with a proven track record of managing a geographically diverse team; as well as proficient in ITIL (ITSM and QA tools) and tools with the outlook towards Dev Ops practices.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Own the Tools and Process practices for GTI flagship programs to ensure that the development to production are of utmost quality and the environment lifecycle is highly optimized with the GTI standard tools sets.
  • Build and own the Tools and Process capabilities/utilization/capacity and Roadmap for the GTI flagship programs part of Quality Engineering COE.
  • Drive alignment with the Tool and Process aspects of the JPMC Global Technology (GT) Accelerate Development Program.
  • Engineer/Reengineer the tools and process adhering to JPMC Standards/Control in every aspect of code deployments, uptime, hygiene, performance, monitoring and readiness of the environments.
  • Enablement of tools/process to drive data/metrics driven change to improve quality as well as improve velocity by providing end to end traceability across all the test environments.
  • Provide Framework for consistent onboarding of tools and practices across all the impacted projects part of QE COE
  • Implement effective automated/self-service dashboards with key metrics and KPI’s which helps drive visibility across multiple products/portfolios.
  • Build strong  process and practice advocates so as to scale across GTI and provide needed Governance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and effective communications between the teams and stakeholders in GTI.
  • Drive consistency and efficiencies in routines and reporting across towers and across programs
  • 10+ years of experience in Technology, ideally in global financial or related sectors.
  • 5+ years of experience in SDLC, ITSM , Agile, DevOps related Tools and Governance
  • 5+ years of experience in process optimization/reengineering , involving multiple teams
  • A background in Software Development Lifecycle and experience with agile methodology based project delivery.
  • Experience in working with Atlassian Suite to manage Agile/Traditional projects (Hybrid).
  • Experience in working/building Safe Agile projects/programs.
  • Experience in complex tools integration/ orchestration to align to market/compliance related process and controls.
  • Background in Dev Ops/Site Reliability Engineering  practice, process and Tools
  • Experience of working in large organization with a matrix environment, utilizing virtual teams.
  • Consultative mind-set with an understanding of financials and managing technical teams.
  • Good organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong negotiating skills, comfortable executing against recommendations & plans by overcoming barriers and resistance.
  • Ability to forge strong relationships and build a wide network throughout the firm.
  • Process and metrics focused.
