The Transfer Agency Middle Office (TA MO) of the Custody and Fund Service business provides a premier service to clients and investors in the Asia region by ensuring client deliveries are met to the highest standard, issues are resolved to client's satisfaction and drive continual improvement to our local servicing model.
 Position Responsibilities:
  • Serve as local contact for a portfolio of clients and their investors.  Answer all phone calls and emails pertaining to those relationships and demonstrate ability to answer queries quickly and accurately
  • Partner across the team and with centralized back-office functions, including offshore locations to ensure the end-to-end process is completed appropriately
  • Responsible for the production of investor level reporting, such as monthly/quarterly statements, contract notes, order acknowledgements, and MIS reporting
  • Attend and drive internal and external stakeholder meetings
  • Drive communicate with clients on AML/KYC review and account opening processes and ensure compliance with J.P. Morgan and regulatory requirements
  • Perform call-backs with clients in accordance with J.P. Morgan policies
  • Perform EOD process validation to ensure all deliverables are met within SLA for timeliness and accuracy
  • Active engagement for new business enhancement projects and internal control initiatives
  • Identify and action business priorities within agreed timeframes; escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Follow standard operating procedures in accordance with J.P. Morgan policies. Continue to challenge status quo and identify opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation 
  • Assist department head to manage team's work allocation, coaching and development
  • Manage and build business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • University graduate with minimum of 4 years relevant Transfer Agency and AML/KYC experience
  • A minimum of 1 - 3 years people management experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels with required English, Cantonese and Mandarin language skills
  • Be able to adapt to changing business environments and work with new processes or requirements.
  • Sensitive to business risks and escalate in a timely manner
  • Commitment to high standards of quality client service.
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure on multiple assignments and under strict deadlines 
  • Proven ability to enhance and streamline processes, demonstrating a pro-active approach to change.
  • Able to work under limited direction
  • Ability to attain in depth knowledge of the technology and applications used within the business.
