Job Description:
Chase is seeking a Data Modeler familiar with design and changing data structures in a Data Warehouse environment. This person will play a role in risk and control procedures from the perspective of ensuring new and changing data structures within the environment are compliant with firm standards. This role also encompasses optimizing the utilization of data assets by governing investments via a data blueprint, and ensure that all technology directions create a positive customer experience that enhance overall quality at Chase.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years experience using Data Modeling tools: ERwin
  • Experience with large scale data warehousing environments.
  • Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
  • Experience with Teradata. Experience with Hadoop, Cassanda, and HIVE is a plus.
  • Experience with change management procedures
  • Experience with Data Governance
  • Experience with deployment of database changes
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
