Within F&BM, the four major areas of responsibility are: Business-aligned BMs (Business Managers), the CIB Controller, Support Staff CFO, and Planning and Analysis

 
Fixed Income Financing Description

Fixed Income Financing provides a global product offering including sovereigns, corporates, MBS’s, structured financings, and emerging markets.  Key activities include client market making of repos and securities borrowed & lent, as well as, critical house functions including financing inventory and short coverage of internal Fixed Income desks.

 
Job Description

The Product Control team is looking is looking to hire a motivated individual within the North America P&L and Risk team.  The role will be focused on the P&L of the Structured Financing strategy is a complex and ever changing part of the business.

 
Responsibilities include:
  • Produce P&L for the desk on a daily basis
  • Understanding and explaining P&L drivers for weekly and monthly commentary
  • Ensuring a sound control environment with consistent applicability of minimum standards
  •  Understanding new regulations and controls impacting changes to standards (control environment, P&L and Risk processes, etc)
  • Working with project teams and technology on system enhancements

  • Strong team player
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Strong analytical skills,  problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Solid understanding of financial products such as repos and bonds in a trading environment
  • Some controller background (product control or financial control) is a plus
