Consumer and Small Business offers a broad array of credit cards to meet the needs of individual consumers and small businesses. Our portfolio includes Chase-branded credit cards - Sapphire, Freedom, Ink and Slate as well as co-branded credit cards offered in partnership with well-known brands and organizations, including AARP, Amazon, Disney, Marriott, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and many others in the United States and Canada.

The candidate will lead the Direct Mail channel for card acquisition and act as the subject matter expert.  In this role you will be responsible for developing, implementing, analyzing and reporting on marketing strategies to acquire customers for key credit card products through the Direct Mail channel.  The candidate will be responsible for creating marketing campaign testing plans, universe targeting, creative, conversion funnel improvements and tracking and reporting.  

The ideal candidate will have strong execution skills, an extensive background in offline and/or digital marketing, and have demonstrated innovation in creating new marketing strategies and tactics.


Description of Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business unit counterparts to establish new account marketing goals and develop strategic and tactical plans to achieve them
  • Drive testing discipline and expansion / innovation

  • Track and review campaign performance and generate recommendations based on learnings, established best practices and competitive landscape

  • Maintain reporting on channel performance and individual test results

  • Act as a subject-matter expert with business unit counterparts and on cross functional projects

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and bring innovation and new thinking to the group

  • Manage multiple initiatives to completion under concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Coordinate and execute enhancements and tests with internal Chase teams and third party vendors


  • 6 years of direct marketing experience, including specific credit card marketing experience, with a solid understanding of card P&L drivers
  • Bachelors degree required, MBA is beneficia
  • Experience managing Direct Mail campaigns required
  • Logical, analytic thinker – identifies clear objectives, leverages data to develop a coherent, logical story
  • Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong Excel and Power Point skills
  • Strong relationship management; ability to drive diverse stakeholders to a common goal
  • Strong problem solver, self-starter, drive for results, effective at prioritizing and managing multiple complex initiatives concurrently
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
