As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will engage teams across a shared services technology organization in the Quality Assurance Program to help ensure software products are delivered with quality. You will report on and communicate the quality posture of software delivery throughout software development. You will lead a quality assurance team that is focused on ensuring quality practices are in play and evolving towards continuous improvement.
Working as a catalyst to establish a comprehensive and resilient Quality Assurance program, you will develop and maintain quality assurance standards/processes and manage quality improvement activities. Create common business specific quality measurement frameworks and track improvement against these metrics. Partnering with the CTO organizations, you will develop overall application testing strategies. Prioritize testing needs and develop cost estimates, when applicable. Ensure that quality assurance-related activities at both the program and at the project level are appropriately planned and executed. Work with Application/Technical Architect and Business/Technical Analysts to ensure that the acceptable range for test results and performance gets communicated to the appropriate testing teams. Ensure that technology problems are properly documented, and ensure that software defects are addressed. Partner with the Chief Development Office to ensure effective use of methodologies. Establish and maintain working relationships across all supporting businesses, IT, and among technology team members.
