This position is primarily responsible for development and support of critical front office fixed income applications. We are looking for people with technology skills, business expertise, and excellent communication skills, to be part of a medium sized development group supporting the front office applications for Asset Management.


You will be a senior hands-on developer on the next generation FI Portfolio Management application (Spectrum PI), required to liaise with business and technology representatives to spec out enhancements, work on support issues, and insure the application is properly maintained in the production/DR environments. You will participate in projects where other developers or analysts are also engaged. The right individual will be capable of working independently, can thrive in an environment where they are empowered with responsibility, accountable for hitting timelines, yet have the authority to make critical decisions in the development process.


The successful candidate:

  • Will be part of the high-caliber development team that works closely with the Front Office users on end-to-end solutions, including requirements capture, build and testing of applications
  • Must be curious, hardworking and detail-oriented, motivated by complex analytical problems
  • Has to demonstrate interest in financial markets, and have ability to communicate directly with the business users
  • Should be able to work individually or as part of a team to achieve project goals
  • Will be expected to work on projects that business-focused and involve data from several systems


  • In-depth knowledge of at least one major front-end web framework (Angular, React, or Vue)
  • Strong knowledge/experience with C# or Java
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, and, preferably, TypeScript
  • Working experience of multi-tier application development and has expertise developing applications for both client and server side
  • Experience using API design and documentation tools, such as Swagger or RAML
  • Strong experience with CSS, and preferably a CSS preprocessor such as LESS or SCSS
  • Experience deploying, testing, and debugging web applications across multiple browsers
  • Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and WebSocket services a plusigning and implementing REST APIs and WebSocket services a plus
