Depositary Receipts Client Service Manager
The role of the DR Client Service Manager (CSM) is to be a point of contact for managing the client relationship on the best possible terms and providing support to the client according to the highest standards.
The CSM coordinates a personalised delivery of service among functional groups internally, coordinates response to client inquiries, provides support to clients around special projects, manages operational delivery and coordinates fulfilment of compliance, legal and other internal departments.
The initial requirement of the successful candidate would be to handle proxy voting deliverables across the various geographies of the business.
This will, in time, become a "front office, client facing" role with significant interaction with key market participants including: issuers, custodian banks, registrars & transfer agents, legal advisors and stock exchanges. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required. The role requires broad representation of the business in external and internal situations.
The Role
  • Working in conjunction with lead RM’s and regional management to provide solutions to the ADR issuer clients specifically
  • Advising clients on the activity in their depositary receipt program    
  • Providing assistance and clarification to the client base with regards to the dividend payment process, annual general meetings, proxy voting and other such corporate actions
  • “Translation” of local market corporate events in order to advise our clients as to their impact on the depositary receipt program
  • Liaison with the relevant stock exchanges and communication of exchange listing requirements
  • Manage the documentation process and execution of transactions to facilitate Employee Share Awards
  • Assistance in the proactive flow of information between the client and their investors
Candidate Specification
  • Equities servicing experience – be able to demonstrate a clear understanding and experience of proxy voting, corporate actions & asset servicing.
  • Hands-on approach with a critical eye for detail

  • Self motivated, proactive with a strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Demonstrated ability to work within tight time-frames with minimum errors
