Senior architect supporting the C&I Credit Technology team within Commercial Banking Technology. Candidate must have 10+ years experience in enterprise architecture, design, and delivery, preferably in financial services technology. Candidate must be able to discuss design concerns/tradeoffs at the implementation level, not merely in the abstract. Candidate should have hard technical skills in the following areas: distributed systems architecture/design, enterprise messaging/service bus/orchestration, business process management, relational and non-relational databases, service oriented architectures, distributed caching, microservices, n-tier web application design, big data concepts and tools, cloud application development, batch processing, general enterprise architecture design patterns.
Evaluate application designs for C&I Credit Technology and solve design problems with application owners
Interact on a daily basis with application owners/developers within C&I Credit Technology in order to promote sharing of patterns, tools, and technical ideas across the tower
Provide critical feedback/advice on correct application of industry-standard design patterns in C&I Credit Technology projects
Promote the adoption of Commercial Banking and GT-wide technology and architecture standards and processes
Help application owners to navigate applications through the permit-to-XXX process
Provide inputs from C&I Credit Technology back to the central Commercial Banking Architecture team and influence that team when necessary
Interact on a daily basis with the Commercial Banking Architecture team to stay abreast of technical trends/standards within CB
Interact on a frequent basis with firmwide architecture teams to stay abreast of technical trends/standards across JPMC more broadly
Participate in miscellaneous LoB-wide and firmwide events related to architecture and technology standards
Help to formulate/implement tower architecture strategy to support business goals of the 3-year tower roadmap
Help to formulate/implement tower architecture strategy w.r.t. Cloud/Big Data/Machine Learning adoption in coordination with other architecture/data teams
