As a Associate within the Consumer & Community Banking Risk Execution Team, you will assist with the monitoring of system decisions/processes across the lifecycle of a customer or application ensuring execution meets requirement expectations and JPM Chase standards.  This includes high level MIS for integrity of Scores, approval rates, line assignment, adverse action, system SLA times, and decision rates plus validation of new data elements used to drive decisions.  The team is looking for a highly motivated analyst and the role will require both technical and analytical skills and the ability to engage external stakeholders.     
  • Include the use of querying tools, reports and analyses to mitigate risk resulting from changes made to our decision engines. 
  • Perform both Pre and Post Implementation validations that aren’t part of UAT scope/ownership and IT QA validations. 
  • Identify and resolve concerns by assisting developers, project managers, technology leads, production support, business/underwriting, and Risk Strategy Stakeholders with inquiries.
  • As part of the lifecycle may include production monitoring of all CCB Risk batch processes, development and management of the Account Review/Prescreen production schedule, change control, documentation and functionality certification, and first occurrence and post implementation validations ensuring the data we receive back is valid.
  • Research production tickets/defects – including monitoring, reporting, and resolution with appropriate stakeholders, including identification of process improvement opportunities and partnership with Risk Leaders to implement initiatives according to control standards and adherence to target SLA's. 


  • Bachelor's degree or higher with 4+ years of work experience.
  • Strong Leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills  including ability to lead cross-functional discussions with Technology, Operations, Risk, and Marketing
  • Experience with Banking Domain and its various products such as Card, Mortgage, Auto or Business Banking a plus
  • Experience working with SAS, SQL and/or other Oracle and/or Teradata database tools
  • Proven analytical and writing skills, including ability to evaluate impacts and translate findings and root cause analysis into actionable summaries
  • Functional/System knowledge of Card, Mortgage, or Auto a plus 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong Tableau knowledge/background a plus
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Capacity to work under time-sensitive business deadlines 
  • Strong attention to detail
