Corporate Technology is seeking a Software Czar.
The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Workforce Technology, Compliance, Legal, and various functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).
A top priority is building scalable corporate systems. CT’s development teams address our corporate partners’ evolving technology needs while aligning to the firm’s expanding technology controls agenda.
Development teams focus on:
· Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping meet the firm’s regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitments
· Advancing the firm’s Roadmap programs – Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Platform Adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions
· Driving innovation across the firm’s corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation, and Agile application development with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles.
CT Architecture provides horizontal architecture services to Corporate Technology and contributes to the definition of firm wide architecture through participation in firm wide initiatives and the Global Technology Architecture Committee.
The Software Czar governs the use of unapproved and non-invest rated software, enforces firm wide policies to limit the number of new products introduced into Corporate Technology, and ensures that selected products are used in the “right” way.
