Tech Ops Analyst
  • Works with clients to support business activities including: integration of network systems and applications servers into existing or new technology infrastructure desktop support, the care and support of systems including proactive console and batch systems monitoring, facility readiness, data center operation, enterprise site engineering and the operations management teams
  • Ensures that company standards and procedures including security and change control are being followed
  • Responsible for responding and resolving information system incidents, to include coordination, root cause analysis and troubleshooting activities
  • Articulates the business value and impact of advanced technical and non-technical information with ease
  • Provides guidance and acts as a resource to less experienced engineers and helps them gain knowledge, experience and good judgment
  • Identifies when issues need to be raised to management and/or vendors for assistance
  • Primarily responsible for accurate problem identification, recommendation of system or design fixes and resolution of P1S1 incidents
  • Implements a wide range of creative solutions and uses judgment based on deep technical knowledge to determine the best course of action to resolve technical issues
  • that pose a significant risk to the Firm and/or affect a large number of users
  • Ensures information controls, back-up and recovery strategies are in place across all environments
  • Projects excellent command of business knowledge and has the ability to solicit input from internal and external sources
  • Responsible for small-to-medium scale projects and delivers presentations with minimal supervision
  • Recognized as a leader and frequently provides feedback and strategic recommendations to management
  • Affects change within sphere of influence and leads development of innovative improvements
  • Implements complex medium- to large-scale projects and has expertise in project management software/process

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Technology Operations experience with a proven background in:
  • Experience on VDI platforms – a plus
  • Windows 7/10 platform support skills (preferably to MCP level)
  • MS Office 2010/2013 suite knowledge, Internet browsers
  • Ability to work unsupervised and prioritize workloads
