KYC Wholesale Client Onboarding (WCOB) is a global initiative in JP Morgan that spans the Investment Bank, Global Corporate Bank, Treasury and Securities Services. The objective is to implement a standardized and consistent client onboarding service across the wholesale bank in order to deliver world class client experience.


As Business Analyst on Product Design and Development team, you will be responsible for the strategic program to transform and re-engineer key platforms are executed successfully.  Ensuring that the project deliverables fulfil the business's agreed requirements and successfully implemented.

You will be expected to combine knowledge of what the business wants with knowledge of how the systems are built and used to create functional designs across applications.


This role will include:


  • Detailed analysis and documentation of both functional and non-functional business needs to create business requirements
  • Analyze current business process to understand the business needs and to determine how to best fulfil those needs via  data sources
  • Liaise with the Compliance, KYC Operations, Front Offices Sales, Risk and Privacy teams to ensure alignment and understanding of new KYC or user requirements. This includes running workshops to elicit their requirements
  • Work closely with Technology partners to ensure requirements are built as expected
  • Timely escalation and resolution of issues
  • Review stakeholder’s reporting requirements, ensure proper approvals and timely delivery
  • Conducting gap analysis between current and to-be requirements
  • Preparation of process flows that demonstrate alignment of system functionality to the operational process 
  • Creation of materials that will enable socializing the details of the solutions - in some cases this will marketing and simplified and in other cases it will be driven by data analytics
  • Performing data analytics across the suite of platforms that we have for KYC.  Every client in wholesale we have access to their payments and client details....joining this together into comprehensive views will be required. 
  • Capable of working with big data and data science (preferred)



  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ year of business Analysis experience
  • Knowledge of KYC process/lifecycle and experience of such projects within a top tier Financial Institution
  • Repeated and demonstrable experience in defining business requirements with the focus being on meeting business needs from an operational perspective rather than technical
  • Working knowledge MS Office tools, VBA and Business Objects
  • Experience of working on projects which deliver business applications to operations teams including rolling out improvements to existing processes
  • Experience on global / multi-site projects including facilitation of workshops with remote participants and rationalization of regional requirements
  • Preferred experience working with Agile SDLC and capturing user requirements in User Stories in tools like JIRA
  • Data analytics / data science skills a benefit
