The candidate will be a member of the Home Lending Servicing Finance Team. This team serves as a planning and forecasting resource to help executives manage, forecast, plan and gain insight into the business P&L. The team’s primary responsibilities include managing the annual budget/mid-year forecast process, along-with several financial and strategic analytic projects, providing insight and decision support to the CCB and JPMC leadership. Additionally, the team manages the monthly and quarterly forecast process while coordinating reporting and planning processes with Corporate teams. Developing relationships with the business and other stake-holders to gather inputs for the planning process are a significant part of the work.
 
The team member will utilize Excel, Essbase, PowerPoint, and SAP in conjunction with other JPMorgan tools to create meaningful reports and analysis.
 
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, troubleshoot, and analyze the results of forecast tools each forecast cycle
  • Prepare forecast review documents for each forecast cycle to be distributed to operational leadership for review and discussion
  • Support forecast infrastructure by helping collect vital data and information from MIS, and operational leadership
  • Prepare insightful, high quality Senior Management presentations
  • Support ad hoc requests from the Business and Senior Management
  • Partner with business P&A team (onshore/ local) to ensure smooth functioning of the process/function
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain and coordinate calendar of deliverables
  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required
  • 3-5 years of related financial analytical experience 
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent communication and partnering skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate organizational capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously within team environment
  • Ability to research issues/problems and provide a 'solution-based' approach
  • Adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment
  • Knowledge of Excel (i.e. use of pivot tables, macros, arrays, etc) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Essbase preferred
  • Experience in retail financial Services/ banking industry preferred
