Wholesale Client Onboarding (WCOB) is a global initiative in JP Morgan that spans the Investment Bank, Global Corporate Bank, Treasury and Securities Services. The objective is to implement a standardized and consistent client onboarding service across the wholesale bank in order to deliver world class client experience.
As Business Analyst on Product Design and Development team, you will be responsible for the product development of the strategic Client Onboarding tool for Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) and ensuring that the project deliverables fulfil the business's agreed requirements.
You will be expected to combine knowledge of what the business wants with knowledge of how the systems are built and used to create functional designs across applications.
This role will include:
  • Manage requirements elaboration milestones for implementation and adoption of new KYC Standards
  • Collaborate with KYC Operations Users and Senior managers cross-LOB and work streams to ensure consistency for cross-platform workflow functional design
  • Partner with KYC Operations, Business Users and Process Reengineering teams to ensure alignment of processes to the system functionality
  • Ensure timely completion of requirements gathering milestones and story writing
  • Ensure JIRA  backlog is consistently being built, allowing to fill at least a sprint worth of capacity at any given time
  • Maintain/enhance requirements gathering model that enables smooth adoption of the system by KYC Operations through:
    • Strong engagement from at all levels of the cross functional stakeholder team and technology team
    • Aligns system design to operating model
    • Timely escalation and resolution of impediments
  • Advanced Business Process Modeling and analysis techniques including production of Use Case Models, detailed Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, State Diagrams and Logical design Models
  • Experience on global / multi-site projects including facilitation of workshops with remote participants and rationalisation of regional requirements
  • Software Development methodologies (Agile, RUP, RAD)
  • Advanced business application and business process knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, i.e., excel, word, visio, project, etc.
